Hi all,
I'm trying to get some ideas going to revitalise the Fire department a bit. Unless we have a story line or something set up by a resident / business owner the chance to do actual call outs are limited.
This leaves us with training ( Fire at the tower or EMT / paramedic training). Some what repetitive for the fire training, but it is essential in being up to speed on how the system works and how the FDH procedures work...
To put a bit of a different spin on things I would like to organise a training event around a RTA ( road Traffic accident). We set a car on fire and then run a training exercise to attend the accident, secure the scene, deal with the fire and deal with a casualty.
A different scenario to try to make things different and interesting.
What do you guys think and who would be interested ? (include your time zones please)
Thanks.
