Subject: Internal Memo, State of the Office
With the late Tabitha Tinamou, Former Director of Civil services finishing the Fiscal year on a strong note, I ask you all to applaud the work preformed thus in redefining the role. She has helped the city come out of a Defecit of 17.9% over her tenure and increased efficeny by 3.2%.
With new management always comes new ways to decrease department overhead and increase productivity. Make no mistake, the Budget of our city is still in crisis, and the initiatves being set forth by our endeavors will see us thru these hard economical times. Each and everyone of us must become more commited to the Welfare of the city and its citizens to get the city back into the "Black"
Also, given these new initatives, The Office of Civil services is currently going thru a remodel due to the current addition of the Department of corrections and City councel appointing Hathians first ever Bail enforcement Agency or BEA. New additions to the city increase cost, but also increases profits, so I would ask you all to become famillar to them.
Finally, I would like to add that the City Manual is currently under revision by City Council and will be made available thru internal publication no later than the end of april. Appointments of office will be made upon application to them, so please keep a eye on the HR postings. Thank you all for your continued efforts to making our city the finest in Louisiana. Please contact me with any questions or concerns at your earliest convenience.
