Question for the entirety of our world:
Would non traditional classes interest people? Things that could almost be made tongue in cheek? Provide some of that less serious and more fun interaction (like Colin's photography class, what a great idea)
Ideas that could filter into other jobs in Hathian when you were ready to be a student :
1. Poledancing aerobics - TT strippers teach poledancing aerobics to recruit new strippers?
2. Gun use and safety class - I could see an imbedded gang member looking for lethal new recruits in this class
3. Martial Arts training - same here?
4. Journalism (to supply people for the newspaper)
5. Criminology/Forensics - a must for every budding new officer, ride alongs, etc
and things along those lines. I think of people those respective groups were interested, it'd provide some more long term tracking for your student story and where it might end up?
