So you know, I've updated the poster in the Administration building to help clear up the current confusion around Financial Aid. When clicking on the poster, people will be pointed in the right direction. If someone asks about it, just point them to the poster.
Basically, we're requiring that a registered player get a job on campus. Once they've obtained the job (ie. clicking on the "For Hire" sign and selecting a role), they can contact Dannika Dryke with an IM that includes an introduction and where they have decided to work. At that point, it's up to Danni if she wants to do an IC interview or simply send an invite to the group.
In the coming weeks, I'll be updating the Financial Aid process to cut out the manual work by Danni and require players to get that job and then interact with a student advisor (worker at the administration office) or faculty (advisors by default) to RP out an interview and submit a quick form through in-world terminals (similar to HPD charts and PD reports). At that point, we would not only generate some new RP for people, but it would automatically track and send invite. For those who want to instantly get their invite to the CU Freshman role, the tuition payment/donation process will still be in place 🙂
