OOC:

While Phi Iota Xi is a sorority and have been involved in planning some social opportunities for campus students, their main platform is related to community service. There focus is generally on women's advocacy, but they're getting into the holiday spirit.

I'd love to organize some sort of fundraiser, activities, etc. around collecting money and gifts for a family in need for the holiday season. Naturally, this can be done to benefit an NPC family, but it would be much more fun if we had a real family to interact with. If you'd like to be involved, please let us know!

Also, if you are a business manager who may be willing to accept some "Cold Calls" from Pixie sisters asking for donations, etc., we're looking for you as well! 🙂

And lastly, if you would like to participate in some sort of fundraising event on campus or have thoughts about how to make this fun for everyone, add it to the list. Pictures with Santa? Christmas Tree Lighting? Hot Cocoa Sale provided by Slim Goodies? Gift wrapping service by the students? CU Calendar sales by the CU Cheerleaders? We want to get other people involved, so if you can think of way to join us, let us know!

The thought is that this would be in early to mid December in preparation FOR the holidays. That way it won't actually conflict with those who are off celebrating in late December.
