Thank you all who have participated in dicussions regarding the future of CU. The meetings and  feedback we have gotten back so far have been inspirational as well look to create an easier and more fulfilling roleplay experience to those signed up at Coulmtreal. For those of you that missed the meetings this past Thursday, read the following notes that detail the different ideas that came from the meetings. Topic/Goals:
CU has always had a traffic issue due to the fact that Hathian tends to be more exciting. There will always be less traffic (which is nice) but there should never be less opportunity or less excitement. One thing we have been lacking are leaders that help to tell CU's stories. Those who can make sure that plots don't die out and that can help make sure students can create stories and plot as well. This traditionally was a GM role or "Dean" role, but we figure maybe its time to just revisit everything. The other thing that has not helped are our systems, while GREATLY improved and automated it's just now doing enough to add substance to daily RP so we'd like to hear feedback and ideas on that as well.

  • CD-CU Cross sim plots. Include Black bottom in plots, provide ways to have leaders send out notices to both groups.
  • Document and socialize how to get events advertise in both sims.
  • More events. Have events be part of core team leaders
  • Emphasize RP outside of classes more than the classes themselves. Apply credit to events as well as classes.
  • Document and provide and easier way to suggest groups and events and then direction on how to apply for those groups
  • Method of grading students. Shorten classes. Advertise Grad students teaching students (TAs)
  • There are so many jobs available, but with no rp, they just get boring and people park their avis. Need ideas on how to change this. Limit jobs? Rotate events at these places
  • Add Sim-Sanctioned Greek Life and Activities. Permanent groups that people can apply to always advertised on the website
  • Display organizations similar to CD jobs
  • Open up connections with jobs in CD and characters in CU ( ie. both the Pie Hole and The Haven) . provide incentive for CD jobs to make moves in CU
  • Open up OOC leadership to more roles (currently just Deans and upper faculty). Create a “TEAM” for
  • Fix event issues in forums
  • What defines possible leaders?
    •  Has good communication skills
    • Ideas or works with people who has ideas
    • Actively (and to the best of their ability) brings forth MAJOR concerns or MAJOR roleplay to the right people and place
    • Is ICly active in CU
    • Receives offlines through mail and can get back to you quicker if rl is in the
    • Make it clear that you do not need to an OOC leader or GM to help with the sim or be a dean/counselor/department head
  • A wider “forum” of leadership from the different active groups
  • HPD specific tasks at CU
    • Training/recruitment – how to be a cop. Rookie Training, Academy
    • Youth bootcamp
  • HGH co-op program with clinic
  • Mixers for faculty
  • Figurehead Dean
  • Student/faculty council
  • Student prez election. Internships with council
