Dean Jack Inkpen and CU Freshman, Kaidn Zero had an IC conversation the other day which led to Kaidn making the following suggestion (as a reminder, Kaidn is one of the students who was shot, but survived, during the school shooting RP at CU in December 2014):

Kaidn, who is himself a runner ICly, suggested that the university do a marathon run to raise more money for better security on campus. Jack joked that maybe the faculty should have to do it naked. 🙂

In any case, Dean Jack will be sending out IC e-mails to students and faculty in order to generate interest and support for this plan, but he will need help to organize it. If you like this idea and want to be part of the 'planning committee' for such an event, just be sure to reply to me ICly once the "Campus-wide E-mail" is sent.

If, by chance, you are not in any of the CU groups and so, would not receive such a notice, let me know.
