The Cheerleaders at CU were known by many names, but most called them 'Spirit Looters'. Whatever they were called, they were cheerleaders. The ones to drive up that spirit from nothing, the ones that brought life to the field and it's players beneath the white haze of those Saturday night lights some motivation to win the game. With the school colors adorned on their uniforms; skirts lifting just enough to tease those peeping spanks lookers, and hair flinging around as they gave all they had for the crowd.
Those were the glory days.
Those glory days and competition trophy's had stopped and the spirit had run dry...as well as their funding. Yes, the school cut all funding from the Spirit Looters after the swift departure of their captain and Coach....The Cheerleading squad was nothing but History. That was until this year came around, a new set of Freshmen and some upperclassmen who took a look at that empty track field and wondered.... or looked down at their Cheer uniforms from last year.
A University that was lacking spirit. That is what CU had become. Well yes, Academics were priority...but there was that one thing certainly missing. .....
A spark of hope? You hear from a friend of a friend that Cheerleaders are being called to muster. A time and place is not yet said but you keep your ears listening and your eyes open......

What does this mean?
This means our Squad has nothing. No uniforms, no support from the school financially, nothing. The school recognizes the squad, but thats all. For now, the squad is self funding... It is up to our characters to change that. (Without the help of instant NPC funding.)
This will take time, this will take RP, but perhaps starting from the bottom and working our way up will give a lot of people who are interested in RP, building relationships and story just that.
Roleplay
Practices will be held weekly though this will be no ordinary 'stick on a hud and click buttons while saying random cheers', this will be the time we RP with each other and watch as our characters form bonds (or enemies) and involve each others character in our RP lives. This is a great opportunity to RP bickering amongst ourselves IC, and messing up on stunts, jumps, cheers. Maybe your character is having a bad day and happens to punch another character? This is something that is encouraged. Your characters will also learn cheers which is up to the captains to make up themselves and practice with each other in their free times. Your characters won't 'stick it' perfectly instantly, even the captains will have had some time to rp their routines before showing the rest of the squad so have fun with it, mess up once in a while. Maybe even ask a captain or another cheer mate to help you after practice.
-Tryouts for new Members-
Tryouts will be held once a month (Though those wishing to try out /will/ get a Cheer hopeful tag and encouraged to participate in practice) This is another great way for members coming to CU for the first time who are interested in our squad to at least have some RP happen for them. I'm sure you all know or remember how it felt being in a brand new sim all alone with no connections or people to RP with. It's lonely. Though it's up to them to engage, it's also up to us to make them feel like their engaging in rp will not be in vain.
-Spirit week and events-
Though the first couple of spirit weeks might not be so exciting (Remember, The Cheerlead Squad is only a shadow of what it once was) In time it should grow along with the University life. With Cheerleaders front and center paving the way to Looter Spirit, Events will happen on campus that would encourage City dwellers to come and engage in. Even the Mayor can make an appearance for one of these spirit weeks.
Also the Squad can work up plans to taking visits to Seaside to pep up their future Looters and helping out other places who want to get their events pumped up with spirit (some ways to earn IC funds and get sim recognition)
