The 2022 Cheer Squad Proposal
Cheer leading is a co-ed sport and we welcome boys and girls in our program. This is a fantastic time to offer Columtreal University Students the amazing opportunity of being a part of a cheer leading team. (add your experience with CU here)
Practice can be timetabled into a few consistent lessons each week together. the Cheer Squad will have one designated day out of the week that they should be in uniform.. TBD.
The Head Cheerleader will come in on a weekly basis to coach a session during the school day. They will also offer bi weekly consultation meetings with the Physical Education coaches assigned to the team to offer instruction and support. Coaches from the school can then continue working with the team more regularly when the head cheerleader is not on session.
Some RP opportunities include:
*Car Wash & other Fund raising events
*Advertisement Support to local Businesses
*"pie" sells
*Kissing Booths
and of course, keeping the famous Looters! name ALIVE by showing presence around the community while in uniform and .. field performances... and so much more!
Summary
* Choreography & Music cut for a 2:00 minute competition routine
* Looters Cheerleaders staffed in house Showcase for friends and family
* Weekly coaching from a PE coach
* Mentoring for staff development of cheerleading within the school
including a handbook on basic cheerleading skills, rules, and how to run sessions.
*(Uniforms will be needed)
*Fundraising Events and a plethora of RP opportunities.
