So the cheerleaders met earlier today discussing different events to bring to the campus and Hathian as a whole. Considering what Aurora recently went through I came up with the idea to have an event for abused women (because CD has a lot of those). The whole idea is to empower them and give support to help pick up the pieces and make them stronger. Right now i'm just bouncing ideas around and would love any suggestions you all might have. One idea I had was we could have someone teach some basic self defense moves to use against attackers. And they could pass out gifts with anti rape kits, pepper spray, those spined things, etc. I'd also like to have psychologist there and/or guest speakers. And to make it all a bit more fun, it could be like a big slumber party, PG cause it wouldn't be a sexy party obviously though, those that want to wear sexier stuff could. There would also be security and those invited would either be involved in the rally or women and their family. Anyway, give me your ideas if you have any input. 🙂 constructive criticism only please..If you're just going to post about it being a stupid idea..without any ideas to make it better..please don't bother cause I'm gonna host the event anyway, no matter what. 🙂
