This class has a new formal name, History 269: Problems in World and U.S. History,  to reflect that it’s about “problems” in US and World history – revolving topics about which there’s controversy, or which we don’t know much about. This class will be a conclusion of the three-part Fuckpuppets of the American Revolution class; tonight, we’ll talk about Alexander Hamilton, the one founding father who might have been bi, and Ben Franklin, who sought the company of nearly every woman in France.
