Facebook, Instagram, Tweeter, Snapchat: what we do, we want to share it and we are happy if we receive ‘likes’. We feel that we exist when somebody likes our status. But is this being social? Is the human being ‘social’ at all? These and other questions we will try to raise in this course, analyzing what means to be ‘social’ in the history of thought. From ancient greece to modern times, from Plato to Nietzsche, from Aristotle to Heidegger, an overview about human nature.
