Character Development, Reporting… Stuff!
Hi all,
I’m still figuring some stuff and I think I need a hand… 2 officers have come to me OOCly that they haven’t been able to search for my reports… One on the Observer fire and the other for Sharps shooting. I know I did them… I can look them up… So what have I done wrong? I’d like to get this fixed so everyone get’s their stories updated as soon as possible. RL is a little bonkers for me over the next few days so I might not be able to do much until Wednesday evening or Thursday if someone doesn’t mind giving me a hand.
Would any of the higher ups be interested in rping a performance review? I’d like to get a better grip IC and OOC on how to develop Valerie more based on her values and abilities within the department. I thought it might be something fun for someone.
I’m also still hazy on how the damned character development HUD works in terms of logging hours at the PD. Is it just when we’re in the station? Patrol doesn’t count? I know I put in more time than the HUD calculates, so I was just curious.
If I think of anything else, I’ll post but those seem to be the things that are on my mind as of late… Thanks all <3

As far as I can see, nothing wrong with your reports. You sure other cops spelled your (or suspects, that works too) username correctly into search field? It’s not exactly google, so… Needs to be right.
I’m up to IC performance review, and Thursday would work just well for me! Just hit me up with an IM, I’m usually on and around from noon SLT.
The HUD logs hours when you’re inside the PD building, much like any other business in Hathian. Patrol doesn’t count for logged hours, since you’re not at station, however, please don’t pay attention to that. IC wise, Valerie would still be “on the clock”, while conducting patrols or responded to 911 calls. You are one who develops your character, not HUD or background systems! Think the HUD as tool, or something. PD folks have very little use for street cred, unlike criminals anyway.

Both Gael and Lyss said they had trouble… I pulled them up no problem… *shrugs* I’ll check with them and see if spelling was the issue.
