The Hathian Museum & Galleries is seeking to foster the ‘art’ of social interactions and humanity. In this new art experience you can visit the museum and “buy” a partner for the next 24 hours. Managed via an auction you can find new connections with your fellow citizens. Securing a lot means you and your new ‘purchase’ will spend the next 24 hours together documenting your journey as you try to understand each other. You will create a photo journal of what you did with artistic photos of how you engaged with your “bought” partner. The best photo journal documenting your experiences as ‘Citizens United’ will win back 20% of the total bidding amounts. So for example if we raise $10,000 then you will receive $2,000 with the rest going to charity.

All remaining money will be donated to paediatrics services at HGH where children’s health care is so important.

How will it work for bidders?

Visit the museum during the auction event ((details will be provided in the CD event list))
During the auction, you bid on a person ((Realistic bids encouraged!))
If you win, he or she will be your partner for 24 hours ((You are expected to have two but preferably three scenes and it can happen over more than 24 hours due to RL and time zones. It’s up to you how you handle it))
You and your partner are expected to take photos of your time together in a photo journal and submit back to the Museum as an entry into the competition. ((No ‘must do’ this, but it’s the IC art hook and we will display perm on the wall of the museum photos submitted!))

How does it work for those being auctioned?

Be prepared to be a 24-hour partner to anyone who acquires you.
Add your name to the list in the museum ((event sign-up in CD Discord and via NC to Zofia / Daiyu))
Be prepared to go on stage and tell the audience something about yourself (your likes and dislikes, your work, what excites you, what your plans are, how you would bring peace to the world)
Leave the museum with your new partner at the end of the event
