Tuesday, February 13 is the date for this year’s ‘Fat Tuesday’, aka Mardi Gras.

Traditionally, Mardi Gras RP is focused around the red-light district on Bourbon Street, particularly the front of the Titty Twister. We’ve celebrated Mardi Gras in the Crack Den for the last six years or so – it’s a tradition!

It’s usually an event that runs itself. Just turn up that day around Bourbon Street, wear something crazily exotic, get drunk, get stoned, do something wild for the day in your RP. Laissez les bon temps roulez, as the saying goes!

No set start time, but there is plenty of scope for certain events to happen at set times. In previous years we have had exotic dancers … cheerleading displays … beads for boobies …fire eating … and elephant rampages. (Check the CD flickr for photographic proof of the elephants!)

Bear in mind that Hathian is a dangerous city and that anything can go down on Mardi Gras day. With so many partygoers gathered in a crowd, there is plenty of scope for cops and factions to come up with some mayhem.
