Esmeralda Siamendes said Hathian Community Center By: ĸaнlen reмιngтon (Kahlen Vaniva) Type: Private Business – Community Center SLURL: http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Devils%20Pocket/47/85/34 BACKGROUND: As a community center we will be offering free or low cost services to help further the community and draw people together such as : Cooking classes, dance lessons, once a month an HPD officer will be offering self defense classes. We also plan on putting together a theater troupe to practice on the stage, sell tickets and put on plays. To involve the CD youth we have plans to set up a scout troop who will hold meetings in the community center, do arts and crafts and plan their first annual Christmas tree sale. Bingo nights and concerts have also been discussed.. the concerts being roleplay ventures where locals with garage bands or other musically inclined talent perform onstage for our audience Of course we wouldn't fit into the city and it's theme if we didn't intend to cater a bit to the steamier , seamier side of the city . To that end we plan to hold one large monthly or bi monthly event be it a date or slave auction, bondge or knofe play exhibition, lingerie show, bikini mud wrestling .. the list goes on. EXPERIENCE: I and my partner both enjoy roleplay, developing stories and characters and want to give back to the community. We believe in being fully immersive.. and want to live, work and play in the city. The venture we're proposing seems like a good fit for the community and a perfect way to meld the characters' previous lives and travels. Both Ren ( RenegadeRogue Resident) and myself have run quite successful businesses in Hathian's sister city for an extended period of time, in my own case several years before taking six months off of roleplaying to explore other aspects of SL.
