BACKGROUND: WHERE Y'ALL DOING YOUR HAIR?! The very first scene Glitter did in CD/Hathian was an interaction between some nice Reject ladies asking them where he could get some extensions. They beat him up and made him a drug mule. Point is... There wasn't/isn't a place to go for hair! This salon would change that, it would give people a chance to RP out Bad Haircut of the Week, (Nobody ever said Glitter and Nick were qualified! Maybe those qualifications are faked, OK?) Gossip, Get their nails done, TRAIN to be come a beautician/ hairdresser. ser parts of the sim? CU could offer beautician courses (If there are any willing beautician type lecturer trainee type people out there) and interns can work at the Salon. This increases those dicey haircut risks! Sim presence wise, Glitter is down to come in every week at least once but Nick Matfield would play more of a role at the salon and it would also be a great place to be employed and fun for all! Nick's role would be that of co-owner, along with Glitter. He would be on hand to hire, do job interviews if requested by people, spread gossip. Another thing he'd do is to hire recruiters. People to go out on sim and drum up business. This is a fun way to get everyone playing with each other. Since Nick is HPD, he would offer discounts and freebies to his fellow officers. How much would depend on rank lol. As Nick is a Seaside counselor, the salon could also be used to raise funds for the school. A day where some of the proceeds from business could be donated to Seaside. The gossip aspect is a major part of any salon. In RL, people often confide in their hairdressers, manicurists, etc. It would be an excellent place to spread news and obtain info ICly.
EXPERIENCE: Both Nick Matfield (NickolasK Resident)and myself want to see a fun and dynamic business which would contribute to Roleplay not only in terms of increasing it but offering a different and realistic type of role play!
