<Video Footage from the HPD Sidewalk Cam and the HPD Lobby Cam, timestamp included in every frame>

The video cuts in. Grainy security footage showing Adelaide standing on the sidewalk right outside of the HPD lobby. Suddenly the video cuts, the inside of the HPD Lobby coming into view. A large man, Kevin Faust, is shown walking into the lobby, Adelaide's back visible just past the threshold. A female Detective, Charlotte Calaway, comes into view in a suit, stepping out from the bullpen. Words are exchanged between Calaway and Faust, but it's not clear as to the mood, as only Faust's face can be seen, short of the fact that nothing seems violent or aggressive now.

Calaway steps outside and says something to Adelaide, her hand lifted as though expecting something. Cut to the outside cam, Calaway's hand lifted expectantly. From the high angle it's hard to see, but there may be the curl of a smile about Adelaide's lips as she pats herself down, her mouth moving. Cut back inside, Faust hasn't bothered with the front desk. Instead he's turned toward Calaway, his posture speaking to readiness. Calaway can be seen to shake her head, and draw her hand across her face, almost a gesture of exhaustion.

Adelaide turns her attention to Faust, her eyes leaving Calaway, and as she speaks Calaway steps forward, her arm lifting to thumb back towards the station. Suddenly, Faust's hand vanishes for a moment and comes forth, a folding knife in it, flicked suddenly open, his posture and motions suggesting that he's yelling or shouting something as he continues to approach the pair and lifts his knife up, ready for action.

Adelaide begins to speak, her gaze turning to Faust as he approaches. Calaway looks back at the man as he moves towards her, and pulls her gun, leveling it at him with a small smile, her lips moving. At the same time Adelaide jumps back and out of view. The external camera cuts in, catching the rest of her jump as Adelaide reaches down and pulls out a gun of her own, her lips moving once more.

Back to the inside, Faust has stopped, and Captain Jeremiah Xuanzang comes into view in dress uniform, gun drawn and held low as he presses his back to the wall, not visible yet to those outside. Another officer comes into view, Ram, dark skinned, long beard, fresh from the locker room, his rank insignia indicating an Officer I. He stops, staring at the events outside, not moving yet.

The picture snaps to the outside, and more words from Calaway, lips pursed in consideration as she speaks. Faust shakes his head as he speaks, flipping his knife around into a throwing position and Adelaide laughs before speaking. As Calaway begins to respond Adelaide takes a step back, then nods to Faust. Suddenly a flash from the muzzle of Adelaide's handgun as she moves.

The camera shifts to the inside once more, Captain Xuanzang against the wall. There's a flash outside, and Jeremiah begins to move immediately, rounding the corner and leveling his gun. Whether he says something or not can't be seen, nor can Adelaide from this angle, but the pair of flashes in front of Jeremiah are clear. Faust turns, a knife sailing through the air at Jeremiah, striking him in the leg even as another pair of flashes light up the outside, the muzzle of Calaway's handgun lighting up as she fires and her chest jumping as she's struck in the body. Faust, seemingly hit in the thigh begins to go down, a pair of tazer prongs hitting him from behind, off camera. Ram starts forward, pulling his baton and forcing Faust to the ground even as Calaway topples over backwards and Jeremiah drops into a crouch.

The camera flips back to the outside, the time rolling back to just after that first flash from Adelaide's gun. A pair of flashes from off camera and Adelaide's body jumps as she's struck twice in the chest. Adelaide fires again as Faust turns and Calaway fires for the first time. All three drop to the ground. The officer with the tazer stands to the side, not easily visible, dark hair, bangs, pale skin. Syler. He reaches up and keys his radio, his lips moving.

Pools of blood begin to spread around the two women, Ren stands in the street, phone in hand, seemingly taking pictures or recording. A citizen comes running from off camera, Gracey, and moves immediately to Calaway's side, pulling open the injured woman's shirt, slapping on gloves, and working to staunch the flow of blood as Calaway's lips move and move. At almost the same time Jeremiah comes hobbling out, knife sticking out of his thigh as he looks to Calaway, and then makes his way to Adelaide. He kicks Adelaide's gun away from her before dropping to his knees beside her, wavering and in obvious pain. He pulls on gloves from his pocket and flips her onto her back, before pulling off his dress uniform jacket and using it as wadding as he applies pressure to the two wounds oozing that dark ichor, his head turned as he something to those around him.

Ram kicks the knife away from Faust in response to Jeremiah's words before kicking him over onto his face and stomach with his foot, and then drops on top of the man with cuffs, binding him. His head lifts, looking to Ren and he motions, calling something out. Ren puts her phone away, and moves off camera. The flash of ambulance lights arrives, and suddenly EMTs are on scene, taking over the treatment. Ram collects evidence in bags, Faust, Adelaide, and Calaway are all tended to and taken away on gurneys as Jeremiah sits back against the Newspaper box, knife still in his leg. With that, the video ends.
