GROUP NAME: S3

TYPE: Skate/Surf/Snowboard shop

SLURL: Teleport

BACKSTORY: The essential plan is to have a casual-themed store for people to buy skating, surfing and boarding equipment and accessories (all in-character, of course, I'm not talking a L$ store). It came about as I considered my character -- Sofia is a former pro surfer and, while she can make a little cash selling lessons to people, it makes much more sense to have her open a store like this. What I hope to get out of Hathian, my agenda if you will, is good play, both for myself and others. I think stores like this really provide it -- a lot of the central places in CD are stores or businesses ranging from Lou's to TT.

UNIQUE: Well, there isn't a shop like this, for one. And I believe it's a place that would appeal to both young and old characters; all the skate shops I've ever been in have been a mix of young teens all the way up to older skaters! A good multi-generational place for people to hang out and play in.

EXP:I'm well-organized almost to the point of being ridiculous at times, and I really like setting up detailed play. The idea of working with actual players instead of NPCing is really fantastic to me, and I think I've got it in me to make it work well!

IDEAS:As I said before, there's a definite multi-generationality (I'm not sure if that's actually how it's put, but I'm not sure how else to say it) to the idea I have. I also think it would be fantastic to sponsor and put together things like skating competitions and the like in CD for youth and adults.

OTHER:I just think that it really fits some of the demographics we've got IC, give people of all ages a place to hang out that mirrors where a lot of people hang out in real life.
