BACKSTORY: Community Mental Health Services of Hathian (CMHH) is a charity set up with a generous grant from a major label drug company. The centre is intended to be a drop in centre for free mental health and residents suffering from substance abuse issues. It is intended that staff working at the location are either voluntary professionals or recovered addicts/persons with mental health experience. The main sponsor, a major drug company isn't giving its money out of kindness. They expect the doctors overseeing the clinic to prescribe off label drugs and experimental treatments that are pre FDA approval.

UNIQUE: The business is primarily to be an informal point of access to mental health services and a "wet" centre, where users can attend without fear off judgement or immediate requirement to cease substance use. It will have a safe injection room and needle exchange. I do not believe that the RP community in CD has a service such as this and it is a realistic addition to Hathian, and a service that may attract residents that cannot afford or are intimidated by the requirement to visit a hospital or stay sober/clean for treatment.

EXP:I have been an active member of the CD RP community since... ummm 2011, save a recent break for illness. I have role played at HGH for the majority of my time here and will continue to do so, but want a project to build with my ideas to put my efforts into.

IDEAS:I think the centre will be a realistic addition to the community, and act as a "feeder" or "gateway" service to generate more intensive roleplay for HGH by way of referrals and consults, etc...

OTHER:I have been studying Psych part time and this centre is a way for me to put some of the substance abuse and mental health crisis theorys into practise. Plus I think the corrupt drug company backing will be a lot of fun to play out. I would like to use the location between the TT and Poison Apple because of its street traffic so I haven't secured a land space yet, but I am open to other locations if this is not suitable to the CD management.
