Backwater Bayou Salvage and Supply
By tarrathorton Resident

TYPE: Salvage and Supply

SLURL: http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Delphine/178/161/26

BACKGROUND: The business will have 2 sides, the legal will be one that focus's on Bayou life and the lifestyle. For those that are familiar with that, it is very much being self suffiecent, living off the land, making due with whats around you. Take care of your neighbor, your neighbor takes care of you. Backwater Bayou Salvage and Supply will, rent, buy, sell, trade or barter for the things that are needed to live in the Bayou. Not groceries and things like that, but more along the lines of boats, parts, building supplies, generators, fishing and trapping supplies. As far as the illegal side, the gulf and the bayou water tributaries offer a way to get things brought in and shipped out without the watchful eye of the PD, neighbors, other criminals and people you dont want knowing your business. I will be seeking out factions, criminals and others that live life on that side for rp and story lines. Ive always like to be able to actually rp out drugs being brought in, other then them magically appearing. Hopefully i can find others who feel the same way, after all we are all here for rp. This also opens up avenues for other rp as well, gang friction with delieveries being hit, PD raids as opposed to NPCing something at the docks.

EXPERIENCE:As far as why i want a business, i've been a member of the CD/DE sims for almost 7 years, my rp when i struggled with putting 2 sentences together in a post was here in CD, i was lucky enough to have Buffy give me pointers and help me along the way. Piper was my first fight, ya i might have bit off a bit more then i could chew there, but isn't that what its all about. Ive always tried to be a part of bettering the community, fostering rp. As titi, i was one of the founding members of the Hellcats in DE, i owned the biker bar there. When tarra was created it was to add a truely corrupt cop to the DEPD roster, of which i worked my way up to Captain. My goal was and always has been to write stories, not just to further my rp, but that of others. I'm a firm believer in the concept of, write a great story, get as many involved as you can. Not just with old established players, but ones who find themselves out of their element in that kind of story line as well as new people. Nothing is better advertisement for the sim and the rp we have here then something that grabs something attention, makes them say.....damn i want to be part of this. All to often people find it hard to find a place to get their feet wet, i see this as just another place for them to do that. The business will hold events, crawfish and crab boils. Benefit's for someone who's down on their luck, dances and things like that. Im looking for things and story lines that will draw people out to Backwater. We have a opportunity to add a new flavor of rp to the CD sims. FThose that know me can attest to, ill do anything to help with someones story line and help promote rp, that will be my focus here with this business.

"This was never my story. It's yours. Now, don't screw it up, okay? ."
