wilbur fitzgeraldsaidI am just curious as I have been seeing it a lot lately the amount of cyborg like people we have in Hathian? I am not 10000% certain of course but even RL technology isn't that far yet least in accessibility to the average Joe. I'm just wondering where the line is when it comes to the robotic limbs? EDIT: For instance when does a person become too OP? Do we just throw water on them? Is there or will there be a new set of rules when it comes to robotics? Functional prosthetic arm with a hook: A functional prosthetic arm with a hook can cost around $10,000 without insurance. Myoelectric arm: The latest myoelectric arm technology can cost between $20,000 and $100,000. |
