Join the "Crack Den Roleplay" Group
You are welcome to join the "Crack Den Roleplay" group which is open enrollment.
- Do a group search in SL and join.
- Click on the group join poster in the OOC area (by the doorway)
The default role is "CD Tourist", but does not make you an official member just yet. With this group, you can receive important updates and stories running in the Crack Den.
There is a L$15 non-refundable fee to join the group - a simple deterrent against spammers.
Explore The City
As a newcomer, you may find CD intimidating at first. However, the city of Hathian provides many diverse roles in society, commerce, gangs and organizations for you to become a part of. Explore the city thoroughly while observing other role-players.
Then, find a group/role you're interested in joining. When you join it, you'll be able to meet others in your own group and learn how to role-play with them. Your character can now be part of an existing or new story. As time goes by, you may feel more curious about other organizations and styles of RP, thus becoming an experienced player by then.
CD has more role-play areas in the sims Vodou, Devils Pocket, District 8, and Black Bottom as well.
Choose Official Crack Den Group(s)
Now that you’re interested in becoming a more permanent resident of the Crack Den, you may find yourself enjoying or curious about a particular role(s). In the OOC area, you will find the most popular and primary groups in Hathian. Click on the boards for a list of roles in the group.
Submit Application
In the OOC Area, you will find application launch boxes against the walls for various groups. Clicking on the appropriate box will launch a web-based application for you to fill out and submit.
Add The Crack Den To Your Profile "PICKS"
Add the Crack Den to your profile picks - in the description, we encourage you to add your RP background and history. This will help others figure out what you're character is all about.
Introduce Your Character in the CD Community!
Since you've already filled out your character background and introduction in the application, use it again to introduce yourself to the community! Register on our forums and create a new post in the introduction section. Once a member of the forums you can use the wiki to create a character profile, for the latest information on your character. How to do that can be found by using the help button
