Because a majority of the college experience revolves around students with ideas able to have them challenged, to meet new people, and grow...the Counseling and Advising office will be hosting a few roundtables in the Student Union, have some coffee, shoot some pool, and hope that some organic discussion starts!
We'll be calling it the CU Coffee Club
Each meeting I'll come with a topic of conversation, you can come with some ideas, maybe some art you made or whatever. We can even go for walks in the summer sun like the Socratic students of old and really engage each other in sharing what makes us...us.
I'll be keeping a sign up sheet (a PM or a game IM) that people can sign up for interest. I'm looking forward to seeing you all on campus and building a strong collective for what I know is a transformational experience at college!
