This lecture will give a very basic overview of how the U.S. Government is structured.  It will include a discussion about the “three branches of federal government” (including the Supreme Court and Congress), as well as “direct democracy” on a state level.  This class essentially amounts to American Political Science 101.  ((If you have taken American political science classes, there is probably nothing new here to learn.  If not, and especially if you are were not born and raised in the U.S., this class can help explain American laws)).   Do you just love conspiracy theory stories?  Get schooled about the American government by a disgruntled  army vet with PTSD… This is the kind of education your parents never got!  Class is one hour long and 2 units are give for attendance to CU students and faculty.
