Saturday Social! Discussion.

Okay! It's my intention to invite all students, faculty and any guests they would care to accompany them to the first of what I hope will be a regular Saturday social event. Hopefully each one will be different.

This one, of course, with the kind permission of our beloved GMs, will be a beer, barbecue and ball event. I propose that we utilise the football ground on the hallowed campus grounds to play host to a casual social. There will be, as the title suggests, beer. Also a barbecue will be provided with burgers, dogs and the usual fixin's as well as what will hopefully be an enjoyable game or two of touch football for the guys or girls to participate in.

Dress code would be casual. Shorts and t-shirts allowed, that sort of thing.

If you have any sudden inspiration about how to make this even better, let me know! Comments appreciated, criticism welcomed.

I will try and be there, but I have been informed that I have to work on Saturday evening in rl. *crosses fingers* So hopefully it will be before or after I get off rl work that the party is going on so I can at least enjoy some time there

Okay! So, the plan's still going ahead. I've decided that the event starts about 3 SLT but will be ongoing for a good few hours because I plan on not sleeping So if you can't make the start, tag along anyway later.

Perhaps with this falling on the end of semester weekend it could be advertised as a end of semester party or what-have-you.

If a generous, notice-posting member of the group could inform the student body at large with a notice on this event, I'd really appreciate it! Thanks.

And now, I won't be able to. Just found out yesterday that I have an RL party at 2SLT. Not sure how long it'll last, but I'll try to make an appearance in-world when possible.
