PLEASE NOTE: This is NOT about any one person. I have seen it happen all over the place, especially on twitter. It happens to so many people; I want to address this issue that plagues our wonderful community!
For the past few months I have seen a lot of people judging each other. People questioning other's realism and what they should or should not be doing with their story. I am quite tired of it. I don't want to go on some tangent or turn this into a justification thread. I think that we need to be reminded that behind our characters are people with thoughts, emotions, and opinions. Being judged, especially publicly hurts and causes people to erupt in anger. Maybe you don't agree with something or how they play their character. Well calling them out in public only puts them on the defensive. If you must bring it up; it should be done in private. Not in a public realm. Not on twitter or OOC chat or in open chat.
Above all we should remember that this is supposed to be fun! One thing I've learned from the eight years of being at Crack Den is that you are far happier when you stop worrying about what others do with their characters (as long as rules are not broken of course) and focus on your own story! I promise you; it alleviates stress from those who are worrying about everyone else as well as those who feel they are being judged by others in sim.
We should live by the moral code of Bill & Ted; Be excellent to each other. *Air strums guitar*
