Rochelle, often called 'Rocky' or 'Shelly' (but never Shelly) to her friends, is a new arrival in Hathian- having moved here from New Orleans to study at the "illustrious" University here in town.

Her parents denounced the idea, who wouldn't in their right mind? But this served to only encourage her further. Having felt choked by her family and their expectations as her teens wore on, Rochelle would claim she was here to fly to nest and to strike it out on her own. To live the student life in dorms living on ramen and working a shitty job to pay her way through- which is mostly true. Mostly. What she neglects to mention is that what really appeals is the atmosphere.

A party girl at heart, her hedonism is what truly drove her to Hathian... after all you only live once, right? And her girlfriends had told her so much about how the bars never carded, or didn't look twice at a fake- and at 18, that sounded like paradise.

Close enough to home to bail if she needed to, Rochelle has come to Hathian in a bid to study theatre and dramatics... as well as continue with her lifelong passion of Gymnastics. How will the town shape her? Lets find out.
