BACKGROUND: Sheltered Hearts of Hathian will provide a safe location for the homeless to find shelter, food (Soup kitchen), internet wi-fi, charging stations and a place to get cleaned up all with a sense of anonymity where a need for privacy is respected. Sheltered Hearts will also provide various programs to help rehabilitate those who need it back into Hathian society. Obviously use of rehabilitation services means anonymity is forfeited. Rae has every intention of reaching out to many of the CD community members including businesses, students, politicians and citizens for assistance in any form they may provide from donations of supplies to financial support. Rae also intends to work closely with local businesses in job placement programs and will routinely check in on placed individuals to see how they are doing. Volunteer positions will be open to citizens for any wishing to assist with a list of duties that need done daily. Including but not limited to : * General on-site maintenance (Cleaning, restocking etc.) * Cooking/serving meals * Interaction with those who visit in providing information on what options are available to each individual Points of interest: * Kids will be encouraged to attend school and be directed to appropriate tutors (( Rae will put up an ad at the university/in the newspaper for tutor volunteer's to help Hathian's youth succeed! Each applicant will be screened!)) * Drug/alcohol addicts will be encouraged to sobriety while recommendations will be made to seek professional assistance including AA meetings. (( Encouraging RP at Sunny View Center for Rehabilitation and Spirituality )) * Those who share mental instability or trauma will be encouraged to attend therapy ((Again Sunny View or HGH depending on the situation)) * Job assistance programs for those of appropriate age. Including figuring out the interest of those needing/wanting a job along with where they may fit in best. This program will include Rae and other Sheltered Hearts employees meeting with business leads/owners to discuss employment options, along with routine check-in's to see how those placed are doing with their new job. * Information Hub / Target location - Aside from the above listed Sheltered Hearts hopes to act as an information hub for the 'darker' side of Hathian while this part will not be advertised , this location will act as a place for citizens to be targeted by the various gangs/drug dealers/ deviants. As Rae is seeking to join the Devouring she will also be using those who flock to the homeless shelter to target individuals to help them embrace their inner sins (7 deadly) along for potential victims for the devouring's demons. (( Hopefully this will also be a spot for any who are looking for IC information that will allow them to potentially merge into a larger story arc!))

EXPERIENCE: I believe this route of interest will not only provide extensive RP opportunities for myself but for others as well. I love this idea and am not aware of any other like it in CD. I am already friendly with (OOC and IC) Ellis Millet and Esmeralda Siamendes as I'm aware already staff and leaders within CD. (Each I feel can vouch for my RP ability!) Working from home I have a very open schedule and am able to be online at various hours of the day and night to reach a wider group of RPers! I feel this is also a fantastic way for me to get Rae more involved with the community along with various plans she has cooking in her mind as well involving her joining the Devouring and other unrelated matters!
