Aaron's Book Rental

By: Aaron (AaronPattenaude Resident)
Tyoe: Private busines - For-Profit Library/Book Rental/Illegal Bourbon Sales

SLURL: http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Hathian/149/67/35

BACKGROUND: A store that rents books - focusing on Dr. Aaron Pattenaude (of Columtreal University)'s books on philosophy, various books on philosophy and poetry, a section of cookbooks that appear to be stolen, and a pile of very dark fiction books. The book store is mainly a front for illegal sales of bourbon that Dr. Pattenaude distills himself - he offers three types of bourbon at three different price points. Book rentals are very reasonable at $.25 per week for fiction and $.50 for non-fiction.

EXPERIENCE:I think it'll be a fun business and since the Book Rental part of it isn't likely to do well in Hathian, the illegal business side of things will make it even better. It also helps establish my character's dark side and his academic side by letting him try to talk people into both reading the very academic books he has authored while also selling his illegal hooch.
