This is Katka Medved, a 19 year old Slovakian girl who ran away from the family her father thought would save her. After seeing her mother OD on heroin, Katka was never the same. She fell in with the wrong crowd and, even though her father sent her to America as a teenager to live with a nice, wholesome family, she couldn't shake the image of her mother out of her head. She turned to crime while homeless and did practically anything anyone asked of her, as long as they paid. She's a bit of a doormat and will do pretty much anything for anyone, especially if she has something to gain from it. With nowhere else to run, she ended up recently moving to Hathian to escape someone who believed that she 'owed them'. Now she's here, and living in a tiny trailer, only time will tell if Katka will go the same way as her mother or rise above it.
