This comes up quite often in my RP and i thought it might be helpful to post them here. Louisiana, like all states in The US, has its own legal code to apply to its residents. This can add a level of reality to the RP you're conducting if you choose to follow them.

(Fun Fact: Louisiana does allow 'adult' adoption, but it is done on a case-by-case basis and it must be determined that it's in the best interest of both parties)
