Hayden always had a superhero mentality; he thought he could save the world, one person at a time. That mentality lasted up to the point in which he watched his fiance for two years, which was his girlfriend of seven years prior, die in a car accident HE caused. Because of his stupidity, because of his lack of judgment, he lost the only thing in his life that ever mattered to him. Distraught and broken, Hayden bought a one way ticket to Hathian, hoping to leave the memories of lives he had broken behind. Hayden has moments where he is utterly cheerful, where he seems to have long forgotten the events that took place only a few years ago. Then there are times when Hayden swears he sees her, walking through town, standing on a corner, walking through a store; this causes Hayden to become a loose cannon, which leads to drinking, that lead to fights, that lead not so memorable encounters.
