Imagine the central sim being the market for everything. Then each of the surrounding sim can have dispensary for a certain drug (as in manufacturing). Whoever controls that turf, controls the sale of that Drug. Drugs can be traded or consumed, or as police officer handed in for evidence.
Trading brings crime rep, consuming gives victim points, handing it in, brings you up in the municipal/police)Once a turf is controlled by the HPD that drug becomes unavailable. It would spice up the whole gang rp, think of big deals busted by the police.
I was brainstorming with Geoff, the other day, and we came up with the following turfs:
rougarou is great for a proper ganja plantation, voudou is perfect for crack cooking houses. Devils Pocket with its trailers would cook meth. Black Bottom with its student college parties and university labs would be a nice place for XTC. D8 with its Hospital in the centre i for perscription meds of course. Batterie Beach would be the Big Shots area where Coke is flewn in. Any ideas for Delphine and Laveau? I am thinking Shrooms in the forests and heroine in the rocked down city.
Any idea on how to realize and implement this into the gameplay? Do the players of criminal factions and the police and also the victims would welcome such an idea to brush be added as a feature to add to their storylines and add more context to their respective roles? Drugs are around in the western world for as long as i can remember and are a big part of the urban theme. What does the sim administration think?
