Name: Dara Petrov (Great, great, great grandparents arrived in the States from Russia. Named after his uncle)
Birth date: 15/4/1977
Age: 31
Height: 6’2
Weight: 208
Hometown: Grand Detour, Illinois
Background story: Dara grew up with his two brothers and his father on a farm in Grand Detour, Illinois. He was an average kid, he idolised the likes of Jim McMahon, Rick Sutcliffe and Michael Jordan. He loved to do outdoor stuff like fishing, hunting, tinkering with tractors and playing sports with his brothers on their farm. He breezed through school with ambitions of being a Helicopter pilot in the Army. In 1995 he graduated from High School and weighed up his options, he decided to apply for Pilot training in the Army. He was unsuccessful, he was offered a position as a Blackhawk mechanic but he turned it down. He returned home to Grand Detour and split his time between working on his Dad’s farm and his big Brothers Tractor repair shop in town. In 1998 he was celebrating the Bulls win over the Jazz when he decided to join the Marines, he didn’t know if it was the Jim Bean speaking but the next day he packed his bags and headed to the recruitment centre. He arrived at Parris Island boot camp and from then on he was a Marine for life, or so he thought. He fought in Afghanistan and Iraq; he was a decorated soldier but never told anyone out of the Marines his war stories, he doesn’t believe in bragging. During his time in the Corp he began to become almost obsessive with his MCMAP training, so much so he became a black belt and certified instructor. Although these days he has forgotten a lot of the technique he can still use it when needed. In 2007 he discharged from the Corps after returning home from his last deployment in Iraq, he had been shot in friendly fire and the shrinks deemed him mentally instable. Dara believed he was shot by his fellow soldier because he had beat him in a card game the night before. He was discharged with full Military honours. He returned to Chicago and looked for work as a Mechanic, he couldn’t find any. He decided he would go check out Hathian, Louisiana. He had heard it was a place with plenty of work. When he arrived he joined the FDH and made his way to the rank of Lieutenant. After a while he had the desire to be a cop, he is now the Sergeant of the Anti Gang Unit at the PD and loving it.

Honours: Discharged from Marines in 2006 with a Purple Heart, Prisoner of War Medal, Afghanistan Campaign Medal, Iraq Campaign Medal and Global War on Terrorism Expeditionary Medal. Black Belt instructor in Marine Corps Martial Arts Program (MCMAP).

Notes: Chain smoker, alcoholic, marksmen and trained in hand to hand combat (MCMAP)
