GROUP NAME: The Black Lotus

BACKSTORY: The Black Lotus agenda is a source of income, just like any other Business in Hathian. Veiled as any typical Chinese business The Black Lotus imports it's own materials via small ships on the shoreline of The State of Louisiana. A mix of a Restaurant, a store and a distributing company, The Black Lotus delivers. Whether it's importing fish or cheap materials, regardless, The Black Lotus's source of revenue is based on Imports. The Black Lotus's creation was on the idea of a income source for The Ling-Chi. The Black Lotus would be an attempt on Ling-Chi's part to put a face and introduce itself into the legal market in the city. Selling food, and souvenirs for tourists or just the citizens of the city. As a Restaurant/Import Company, The Black Lotus would also invent other products to sell and create it's profit to the city.

UNIQUE: For the description of the business, I tried my best to make it look more separated from The Ling-Chi to give the business it's own identity. One of the things that I believe would stand apart with this business is that it involves Gang elements into the market. For example, employees, aware or unaware are involved in a very shady business. The Black Lotus would be creating cheap and copyrighted materials as well as very rogue products sold at it's store. Using the employees as cheap slave labor, The Black Lotus would seem to have no problem of human labor costs.

EXP:RP'ed in The Den for more than year. HPD Supervisor and member of the PD for about 8 months.

IDEAS:I believe with the creation of The Black Lotus, alot of roleplay with the use of the Shore that Hathian has would allow a large and diverse roleplaying experience. Not only that, The Black Lotus would be a seperate and stand-alone business that introduces players into the criminal underground world ICly, OOCly it would provide more information to the person who would be interested in that genre of roleplay.

OTHER:If The Black Lotus was to be accepted, it would boost and help The Ling-Chi during the trial period to establish it's dominance presence known slowly for the city.
