It’s not a gang town, it’s a town with gangs. But I think we’re talking about different situations here. Because the issue was more to do with those who would want to go into a business without the intent on insulting a gang member or dealing with violence straight off, and getting roped into it anyway. And for a new person, its not as easy to send an IM saying they don’t wish to participate for fear that they’d be seen as an unrealistic roleplayer or someone who can’t play fair, fear of getting cut off from the cliques that are already hard to break into ICly. You all know this is true. Honestly, its up to everyone to just be responsible about it. Those who weren’t in the past were cause for the rule in the first place, in my opinion. If a group of a few gang members hangs out at a bar drinking, not stopping others from doing so as well, just drinking and maybe a fight from someone running their mouth, that’s roleplay. You’re not impeding on anyone else’s ability to roleplay at that bar. That’s the point. You don’t have to go to an extreme and say you can’t go into any business at all. I understand its the feeling some of you are getting, but it’s not the intention, and I hope that’s understood, too.
